Worcester - Excellent residential lighting
A residential home at Commandery Court, Worcester, Wr1 had globe lights ( see picture #37 ) where in fact the only dark place was underneath the light.
Bearing in mind the elderly residents weren't flying in every evening it seemed an all round stupid piece of lighting.
The local counciller Francis Lankester was contacted ( before the local elections ) who had this installed 3 weeks later, after he was re-elected

Phil - Since when are property owners supposed to light the street for the Council? The car you refer to is on the other side of the wall (the wall can be seen clearer than the "car"). Why on the apex? The higher up it is, the light would shine outside the area required to be lit - a classic lighting engineer error! I suggest that the purpose of the light is for people using the building (and perhaps parking INSIDE the property boundary, i.e. the wall). Seems to me that some people think light should be allowed to shine anywhere unabated despite wasting energy and causing nuisance to others.

The light is not high enough should be on the apex.
