Victoria Hall, Cromarty - misdirected floodlights

This shows the before and after of the floodlight positions on the Victoria Hall, Cromarty. The yellow arrows show how the beams were directed when the light fittings were correctly angled, and the red arrows show the beam directions resulting from the lights being angled upwards during renovations, then not returned to their former positions. The original light 'wash' was quite striking, making the building gable look more dramatic and eye-catching after dark, so hopefully the light fittings will be adjusted again to recapture this effect.
