Dangerous Security light at Mercedes, Stockport

Floodlights installed outside a Mercedes showroom in Stockport. Inset is a close-up of the floodlights, both angled upwards towards the vertical. Despite the adjacent street light lighting up the cars on display at night, these floodlights are in use. The one facing the camera shines into the eyes of drivers on the A6. It is a danger to passing traffic at night, causing drivers to be blinded for a few seconds. This location is at the spot where two pedestrians have been killed in the last three years. Ironically, on the opposite side of the road where one such accident occurred (during the night), Stockport Council have removed the street light.
